This is for the firms whose business runs on credibility — legal practices, accounting and tax firms, financial advisory, consulting practices, medical and dental clinics, real estate agencies, mortgage brokers, B2B service businesses. The kind of operation where a client's first impression is your team page, your About section, your LinkedIn presence, and the quality of those visuals affects whether they pick up the phone.
If your firm is bigger than a sole operator and you want professional photography that signals real care for the firm's image — not stock photography, not phone snaps from the office party — this is the audience this page is built for. Single-creative-direction work, captured properly, scoped to your firm's specific need.
For service firms where credibility is the product. Visuals matter more than they look like they do.
Professional firm photography breaks into three discrete deliverables.
Individual headshots — for the team page, LinkedIn, internal comms, press kits. Consistent lighting, considered backgrounds, post-production matched across the team. The headshot is the most-viewed image of any service professional online — it deserves more thought than a phone selfie.
Team headshots — group photography for firms needing consistent imagery across the team. Shot in one session for visual coherence; the per-person rate drops as the team grows, from two people up. The session is structured so each team member gets individual coverage plus group options.
Broader firm photography — beyond just headshots. Office and workspace imagery for the website, partner portraits in working contexts, client-meeting environments, branded interior shots, candid team moments. The kind of imagery that fills out a firm's website beyond the team page.
Different firms book different mixes. Some firms only need headshots. Others want a full visual library — headshots, plus office, plus partner working portraits, plus brand-aligned imagery for marketing collateral and capability statements. The Section 05 packages cover both approaches.
Two reasons firms hire EMS, and the engagement structure depends on which one fits.
The first reason is headshots. A firm needs consistent professional headshots — for new hires, for a website refresh, for a team that's grown beyond what the existing imagery covers. The session is scoped to that single deliverable. One day, the whole team comes through, individual sessions and group options, professional editing across the set. Done. The headshot package is built for this engagement.
The second reason is broader. The firm has decided that professional imagery beyond just headshots is worth investing in — partner portraits in working contexts, the office space, client-meeting environments, branded interior moments. This is a Foundation half-day or Studio Day full-day shoot, with the headshots as one component of a broader brief. Right when a firm is undergoing a website refresh, opening a new office, expanding the partnership, or rebranding.
Most firms start with headshots. Many come back for the broader work later. Some firms with regular content needs (capability statements, recruitment campaigns, partner appointments, ongoing thought leadership) move to a retainer.
The pre-shoot brief for professional firm work is operational. It captures the team list, scheduling, dress code expectations, room access, brand colour and style alignment. It's straightforward but thorough — most professional firm shoots run smoothly because the pre-production answered the questions before the shoot day started.
A team that looks like one team. Consistent headshots across the firm — for LinkedIn, the website, pitch documents and press — shot to one standard whether it's four people or forty.
On location — the team day. We bring the studio to your Sydney office: one setup, lighting held identical for every face, everyone through in minutes each. Up to forty people in a day. Each person's image is selected and retouched individually — a team day is forty sessions run back to back, not one shoot of forty people.
In studio — private sessions. For individuals and small teams who want longer in front of the camera. By appointment, after-hours by arrangement, nobody else in the room.
All prices include GST.
| People | In studio | Retouched images each |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | $395 | 5 |
| 2–4 | $295 per person | 2 |
| 5–24 | $195 per person | 2 up to nine people, 1 from ten |
On location — team days. Your office, your boardroom, your floor. One setup, one image each, the whole team through in a day. On-location pricing:
- Up to three people — $1,135 flat, setup included.
- Four to twenty-four — the session rates above, plus a flat $250 setup. Six people: $1,420.
- Twenty-five to forty — the session rates plus setup, capped at $5,500 total. You pay the per-person total or the cap, whichever is lower.
- Larger teams — get in touch.
- Travel within 30km of Roselands included. Beyond that, at cost.
The setup is one load-in, one lighting build, one pack-down — the same work whether we photograph five people or forty. Most studios fold this into a quote. We publish it: $250, flat.
New hires are covered at small-team pricing — $295 per person in studio. On location, the up-to-three flat rate applies.
Retouching standards, proof counts and full terms are on the packages page.
