Headshots — Individual or team. Same as the professional offering, available for personal use cases too — a parent's LinkedIn, a graduation portrait, the official family doctor's profile.
Individual Portrait Session — A relaxed 1-hour session for one. 1–2 outfit changes, 8 edited lifestyle images. Right for: a portrait worth keeping — a personal milestone, a gift, an updated profile picture with real care put into it.
Family Portrait — A 2-hour session for the whole family. 12 edited images. Children move at their own pace; adults get to be themselves. No rushing, no department-store crowds — just considered photography of your family in a comfortable space.
Graduation / Milestone — Studio sessions for graduations, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirements. 10 edited images, focused on the moment. Right for: any milestone worth photographing properly.
Personal Branding — When the personal moment is also a public-facing one — a small business launch, a creator's about-page refresh, a gift for someone who needs visuals for their work. Same Personal Branding session structure as the dedicated personal branding work.
Gift sessions — Any of the above can be booked as a gift. Phil works with the gift-giver directly to scope the session, time it well, and arrange the booking; the recipient gets a meaningful experience and a body of work they keep forever. Worth knowing if you're shopping for someone who's hard to buy for.
Pet inclusion — On-location personal and family sessions can include pets. The studio space itself is home to Bello, our resident Ragdoll, so visiting pets aren't suitable in the studio for both their comfort and his. On-location, well-behaved pets are welcome.
The shoot is conversational, not regimented. Light direction at most — "come stand here, look toward the window" — but mostly the camera catches what happens between exchanges. Real moments observed properly, not posed and held. Most of the strongest images come from the conversation, not the pose.
For families, that means children move at their own pace. Toddlers don't sit on a number-three mark for thirty minutes. They explore the room, get distracted, find something interesting, return when they're ready. The shoot is built to absorb that, not fight it. Adults get to be themselves — the formal-photo-face that everyone makes for school portraits doesn't show up here, because nobody's asking for it.
For couples and individuals, it's the same conversational mode at different scale. The session is paced. Outfit changes are unhurried. The studio's private changeroom and full-width backdrops are set up before you walk in, so the time you're in the room is time spent being photographed — not time spent waiting.
Sessions can happen at the studio near Roselands Shopping Centre, on-location across Sydney (parks, beaches, your home, anywhere meaningful), or as a combination of both. Studio sessions are climate-controlled and predictable; on-location sessions are weather-dependent but often more meaningful when the location is right. Both work; the right call depends on the brief.
Returning clients book at 10% off the base rate. Many families come back annually — the kids grow, the moments change, the visual record builds over years. The eye stays consistent so the body of work hangs together as a coherent family archive.
